How long is it taking you to finish each one? Making a making a map (including scripts) even decently big maps shouldn't take more than a few days at most I should think. Then again I dont know how you are creating yours or how big they really are.

I'm gonna go ahead and be a dick and say, if you've never written the editor from scratch, and created maps bigger than 40 room, some rooms being Much bigger than 60x60 tiles, then you have no clue what you're talking about.

Hmm... Let's see... For dungeon #5 (the most recently completed dungeon), there are 43 rooms, ranging in size from 21*15 tiles (smallest) to 147*90 tiles (largest), roughly averaging around perhaps 42*60 tiles... The first dungeon (the one in the demo) has only 22 rooms, largest being 42*60 and the smallest being 21*15. It's miniscule in comparison to pretty much all the other dungeons. I'd say the second dungeon is roughly 6 times its size.

Keep in mind, too, that this is without huge random patches of blank ground... This isn't just large areas for the sake of large areas. The space is actually used. So... It does take quite some time to finish a dungeon, even though they're all planned out on paper beforehand.

I like the sound of this.. I remember my sister playing Zelda, i'd leave for half hour and come back, and she'd still be walking back to wherever she came from. I find those RPGs so boring.

Well considering I did make my editor from scratch and have made maps at 100x100 =)
