FHT Virtual Fighting Arena
#1
Wow. This is my first post in four months. I finally made a game to post on here too. It's called FHTArena, and it's a text-based, turn based combat game. The difference is, you don't control the fighter. You make it. Here's the source (sorry it's so long... I don't have a place to store the executable).

EDIT: Code Removed; See Link Below

I'll be looking forwards to some comments...

Download FHTARENA.zip
Badda-Boom.
The file is a .zip and contains FHTARENA.EXE and FHTINFO.TXT

I'm guessing from the lack of responses that the public opinion of FHTArena is not a good one.

nah, we just mostly program in FB these days.

Take a peek and see. Games made in FB will get a lot more looking at :)

Tried it. And like it. I like the idea anyway. I haven't gotten to fight anyone yet. You should port to FB and make it a multiplayer game.

cool =) seems like you put some thought into it. it *would* be really cool if you made it in a natively 32 bit windows app (i know a good compiler http://www.freebasic.net/forum/index.php) and then learned some networking so you could play against other people over the internet ;)

very nice for a first(?) game
