that's not a compiler feature but an os feature. each process that is started is assigned a heap on windows/linux. when your process terminates this heap is automagically freed by the os so no memory gets lost no matter what you do in your program. this doesn't always work so good on windows though....
gcc has no garbage collector i would know that hehe

well the link is nice... only that's not c++ or c but objectiv-c, it's part of the gcc compiler suite but not g++.

deleter that's interesting cause i got the exact same specs except that i have the pcie version of that card. and i get 180, 220 frames
on a side note, the timer might be borked so the framecounts might not be accurate :p
