hardeep, just admit that you have no idea what you're doing. Save what little respect you may still have before you turn into Axipher.
btw: I'd pay to see Cha0s kick your ass in real life. 8)

@ hardeep : Apparently this isn't a good forum for you to recruit team members, so I would suggest going to http://www.gamedev.net. They have a Help Wanted Forum dedicated to designers looking for additional human resources, but they do require you to post in a certain format. Luckily for you, the format they use actually helps you organize your project in a presentable way.

@ speedlemon : Wow, with 811 posts I'd think you'd have read the forum rules by now. You might want to take a good, hard look at your life if all you have to add to a discussion is insulting other people. I don't feel sorry for you - at all.

Stylin, I'm afraid to say I'm sure they would be a lot more critical of hardeep on gamedev. They would take him to pieces faster than we did here.

I disagree. Although beginner-bashing has certainly happened in the past, lately everybody seems too worried about their rating to post anything like was posted here. I guarantee you there would be a higher percentage of folks over at GameDev offering constructive advice than there are total members here. But that's just my opinion.

EDIT: besides, the moderators over there would not stand for it at all.

On what!? His random post containing random ASCII?
Because, there's nothing to offer anything on..

Only thing that could be offered has already been, and that was: Show what you can do before you ask others to do things for you.

For example, I would never join a 12year old coder who wants to make the bestest game ever, when said 12 year old can barely manage to produce a hello world program.

Also, Whitetiger's post was fully legitimate and in compliance with the rules, being one who breaks them a lot, I know.

No sane person with any degree of self-respect would join a team started by a person, who is unable to show proof of claims, show past experience, or even produce proper* english sentences.

I know all this, I've recruited people, and I still do. In about a year I've recruited around 30 people, most of which I've known for several years before this. Recruiting isnt something you do with a 5 line post on a forum, where you know noone, and, again, has shown no skill whatsoever, in any relevant field.

*by proper I mean readable, full word sentences. Where atleast an attempt for grammar and spelling corrections have been made. Noone is saying he needs to make perfect grammatical posts, just better ones. And it's really sad I feel I have to add this or someone would pick up on the word "perfect" and bash me for saying it, quoting some random error in this post. You suck.

You're are entitled to your own opinion and I'm going to respect that. However, I'd like to point out that I don't only insult people.

From what I gathered from his post he's looking for programmers, among others. Therefore, his ability to code a tech demo is irrelavent. I might have been interested in joining the project if I was suitably compensated - which means money. I don't care if my boss can't code, as long as the schedule is reasonable.

Good for you. Again, how does this relate to the OP? He could be an artist, for all you know. Remember, a game designer is not a program guru, nor an artistic savant.

True, but there is a difference between pointing that out and making a mockery of him. It's the same difference as is between constructive and destructive criticism.

I agree, which is why I pointed him to places where he could learn such etiquette, instead of merely bashing him for his lack of.

Again, I agree, that is sad. Do we have to stoop to their level?

You want to get together on a project sometime?
