Inspired to make a pong clone unlike any that had come before it and with a dangerous level of caffiene pumping through my veins, I spent the last several hours making
this
Enjoy! I know I sure as heck did making it.

Maybe its just the crappy-ass laptop im using that doesnt like modern programs, but it aint working here. When I finally get the difficulty selected after much difficulty (ahahah..) It works, but appears to work at the speed of light. The ball and paddle just jiggle around in a bizzare fashion.
Of course, as I said it might just be this laptop. I will try on my main box tomorrow :)

if you put the difficulty too high it would tend to do that.
Download updated, difficulty now set by mouse. Option to run fullscreen asked at runtime.

I just tried it on my main box and it works well..
all I have to say is one thing:
definately looks like the creation of someone with waay too much caffiene in their bloodstream! ^^ I dont think ive seen a pong that bizarre and amusing in a while. :) Nice!

i like it too. but the big and small ball could of use some shading affects also. y'know, like look at the background and the mouse "green->red" color shift thing is also cool. almost mesmerizing.
anyways, wtg!

I thought the same thing. Its on my todo list, along with pickups and several other enhancements.
