Hrm...can you run arbitrary applications on this computer you use? If you can, I can give you a program that will download files for you without using a browser at all...

The library is run by an outspoken totalitarian(seriously, (s)he never stops ranting about dictators being cool, it pisses me off...). Anyway, I am not at school anymore, so yeah, I can get that prog. Make sure it fits on a 3 1/2, though. I'll use it at school. Oh, here at the library, I can save the files to a floppy or flash key, if you didn't see above... when I get a new flash, I can download almost any prog from the internet onto the key.

You could have someone upload a UU-Encoded version, then just Copy & Paste in notepad, save on disk/CD.
