All right, so I downloaded meself a copy of PDS7.1, but I am not quite sure how to install it. When I run the setup.exe it asks for installation disks. What should I do?

If it's asking for the install disks it "works." Here are your choices:
a) Extract the files to floppy disks and actually install from disks. b) Extract all the files to the root directory of a hard drive and use that as the source drive. c) Extract all the files to any subdirectory on a hard drive, and use SUBST to setup a fake drive. For example, extract all the files to c:\temp and then type: Code: subst z: c:\temp And set the source drive in the setup program to z: If you are doing b) or c), make sure that all the files are in the same directory, and not in \disk1, \disk2, etc. subdirectories. When you get a prompt to insert the next disk, just hit enter.

there are downloads that only need to be unzipped in a directory. you could try one of these.
