Haven't heard of anyone pulling a profit from a QB prog... except when I wrote a few for my fellow Algebra students who were too lazy/dumb to write their own for a class project.

Apparently people used to make money out of QBasic, before bigger and better lingos came along, but you'd be hard pressed to find a program in QB worth buying these days. Ask Glenn, he probably made some money out of it at one time.

or explicitly told/asked to write a QB program, no, I can't say that I have. However, I was using it up until about 1.5 years ago in support of things that caused my company and I to make money.

Really? Wow...
What did you do with QB?

made programs to display images from data generated by other programs, saved those images and used QB programs to convert to a PCX file (so I could import them into Word to make a report--which is quite often what actually got delivered to the customer), etc.
