Firefox Error
#1
Quote:Software installation disabled. Click Edit Options... to enable it and try again.

I've been getting this error with Firefox lately
(as well as a "server not found blahblahblah" error)

And after viewing every single possible option folder/button,
I have not for the likes of me been able to find out where it has
the option of being able to enable Software installation Cry ...

If anyone could give me an awnser that would probably
take a minute to find out, and make me look like a total idiot,
that would be great.

It helps if you connect to a server that exists

If you are using a DSL modem, the modem acts up at times and will refuse to connect with a server. Usually to fix this problem, I fire up IE, which "forces" the modem to respond, then go back to FF and it usually works fine after that. As for the installation error, I could not have an idea of whats going on with that....

I have the latest version of FF (1.5)
I'm going to re-install it and see if
that changes anything :-?

EDIT: nope, that didn't help
