I see the world falling;
the rock is failing,
the water is boiling,
the trees are all aflame.
Out of Darkness the world rose
and into Darkness She falls;
meekly, we follow.
The day has turned red,
the night has turned fiery orange,
and the dawn and dusk merge into one.
I stand upon a piece of celestial flotsam,
watching from afar
the death of a world.
The bloody light is rising;
the stone is melting,
the water vanishing,
as she collapses into a glowing red bubble.
The world is contained between the Darkness
and the Fire place; She chooses the Darkness,
spilling Her molten guts at the stars.
In the Darkness, there is safety
In the Darkness, there is solitude
In the Darkness, there is hope
that Mankind may live again.
