TileStudio "Compability"?
#1
Hi everyone!

Just decided to start developing games again, it's been 3 years since.... 8)

I want to make a Mario-like side scrolling game, 'coz they are the best games ever! Big Grin Well, here's my question; I've found a very usefull Tile Editor called TileStudio by Wiering Software (http://tilestudio.sourceforge.net/). Can I use this Tile editor to create maps for my game? There is a map editor there, but I don't know how get the map files to work with my game since I don't know the structure of the file...

Please download TileStudio (free) and try it out, it's the best ever!
ou may not remember, but you will never forget!

Google for "mappy map editor" and get it. You can configure the program to output in the format you want *plus* you have source code snippets in several languages/libraries so you can use the native format.
