The Oregon Trail

they had it on all my computers at my private school as well, not just public schools Tongue Along with math blaster, that was probably the first comp game I ever played, and there was this one where you construct a rocket from parts and try to go the highest Tongue.

anyways yeah its a classic from WAY back. probbly had it on lots of early ibm and apple pc's in public schools.

and i believe the gold game was called "dig it" o.o i still could probably code that game, because i remember the rules ;p

Well, the game looks terribly interesting and educative. It's a pitty that I haven't seen it before. It's one of the bad sides of having been a "country in development" during the 80s  There was just 1 computer in my school when I was little, and it was used just by the almighty powerful director Big Grin

Does anyone remember 'Eldorados Gold'? We only had crappy BBC Micros at school till I was about 15, then it was all about 'Lander' on the Acorn Archemides
EVEN MEN OF STEEL RUST.

CRYSTAL QUEST!
SHUFFLEPUCK CAFE!
...and this other one where you were a little dude in a castle and had to throw rocks to kill things... only don't fall in any hole in the floor, because you always got into the dungeon...

Who can forget Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego? Although that franchise has since gotten bigger, as with SimCity...

EDIT: Eliza... and Chopper Rescue or something...

There was also Mystery Island I think. Where the weird doctor goes and makes you into a highly deformed doll?
