BALLSBREAKER
#1
Hey All

This is my first project ever posted on the 'net...and it's very very simple... I just whipped it up and thought it was better-than-my-average-program... so I decided to share it with you guys! Theres still some stuff I can do with it to make it more challenging and whatnot, and I'm gonna expiriment with that, but for now, this is it. Please follow the feedback instructions! It'll help me (cuz I'm lazy)Tongue Oh yeah, thanks to Mech for the splashscreen at the beginning Smile

One night I had a dream where I was breaking balls. The next morning, BALLSBREAKER was born.

Cool, and slightly addictive.

For such a simple idea, this game is incredibly playable. I killed a half an hour mindlessly moving the mouse around. I only stopped when my arm started to get sore.

So...^_^;; It was pretty basic. I lost interest after 5.3243 minutes. Some combos and maybe some very hard to hit balls would make it more fun.

Add some sounds and background or foreground graphics, a scoreboard, highscore list, power-ups, new balls (Harder to get ones and ones you shouldn't get), and a decent gui and you have yourself a commercial value game! Big Grin

If there's a plot too, that would definitely be worth at least $3 anywhere.

I thought no one would respond Big Grin

Thanks guys! my brother wrote a techno-ish song to go with it... is that a wise idea or no? It's kinda catchy, but it's 2:50 long and so it would loop... a lot, probly. So I dunno. As for the rest of the game, hopefully I can take all your times and make a reasonable "time limit" for each level, and then add stuff like... *gasp* RED balls that if you touch you lose valuable time... or something. I dunno. I was just bored and it seemed cool! Thanks for your compliments! ESPECIALLY Z!re. :bounce:

....if you move the mouse too fast it doesn't register, making it not that fun...though its an interesting concept
