Equation editor I could use....
#1
Hi guys, I was wondering if there is a free equation and mathematical symbols editor that I could use along with MS Office.

You see, making algebra exams are a lot harder without it. I used to use MathType but I lost the installer when my old comp broke.

What I need is the ability to Type Radicals, Complex Fractions, etc. Thanks in advance!!!

MysticShadow: I actually need only to type Equations and math symbols but not solve them.

Thanks for the links anyways.

Open office has a nice equation editor, it's also free (gpl), but I think you need to install the whole office suite.

I think it's based on someting called latex, so a search for "latex based equation editor" might turn something up...
