Oldskool BBS Intro
#1
Hiya, this is my first project in Freebasic, I've been writing gfx demos since I had an Amiga too many years ago.

This project is all software rendered using tinyptc and full source is also available at the DBF forums.

Here's a screenie and a download link;

And here's the download URL:

Hope that you like it, you can get more of the same at;

Thanks!

Can you modify that a little to be able to take custom XM tracker files, custom text data, colour themes, image at the top, etc? That's madness! Good stuff!

Thanks, glad you like it.
The intro is all rendered with tinyptc so everything has to be hardcoded, the colours and the music can be changed easily, the logo is a different matter, it was converted into a table of colours which are indexed to two different colour palettes to give the nice sinus colour effect inside the logo.

If you are interested in seeing the source, it can be had here;

Will take you to a topic on my board, you can download the source by clicking on the attachment at the bottom of the post. :^_^:
