Cumulonimbus
#1
On my way home from a short trip to the cabin up North with my family (I caught three fish, BTW, sadly all Yellow Perch), we drove through some weather disturbances. I saw some lightening, but it was mainly heavy rain and some stiff winds.
Anyway, I took this photo, and I think that it is a cumulonimbus cloud, although I'm not positive; weather in Ontario is mainly boring so I don't have much experience.

Can anyone confirm that this is indeed a cumulonimbus?

Traning to be a tornado chaser. It's proving difficult, though. I can't find any good, straighforward resources for learning about weather.

@TheAdventMaster: Eh? Insult me? What, do you live in Texas or Oklahoma or something?

1) The Weather Channel.
2) Wikipedia.

1.) look up
2.) you might not find a step by step guide to chasing tornadoes
3.) encyclopedias are a great way to learn. just use the information it gives you and it's up to you to do something with it.

Then try wikibooks, which is.

EDIT: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Meteorology should give you what you need to know when it is complete, and it's far from that.
