Looks real nice. If you dont mind I would quite like a shot at rendering it too when you finish? Are you going to release the file?

Well done. I have started a car plenty of times using the same method, blueprints and flat polygon modelling, but I could never get farther than a wheelarch or two, not sure why.

Well done!

Depends.... lol, I've been debating off and on on whether I should try my hand at selling copies of it.. At it's current rate of detial, and going by one 3D model site, it'd be worth like 90-100 usd finished... o.O ...

That is, ofcourse, if I can get it exported right.. If not, I might just not bother, and release it open source so to speak.... who knows..

Hehe, it's a mess, yeah.... Probably helps me alot cause I study alot into car design, etc.. so getting stuff to match up isn't that hard.... Also, I find, it takes keeping a clear head, and having some referance photo's on the side to check how you're coming out..

So, I'd suggest Googling images of cars, and really digging into how their body work lays out.... ... You seem to be into cars, so body work studying shouldn't be boring... =)

Well dude, remember I only want it to do a render. I like rendering stuff better than modelling it xP You could email me a copy of it, and still sell it. I wouldnt pass it on, I'm not like that. Of course it is up to you though, I respect whatever your decision is.

Yeah thanks. Its not so much the car I have problem with though, its just Im not great at modelling. I need a better comprehension of the tools and how to use them, but I suck at sitting down and reading tuts. I can model the wheelarch for example, but when it comes to trying to figure out how to join poly X with poly Y or how to split Poly Z to it fit better, I get lost.

Anyways keep it up. I love Evos. :)

Btw on the topic of cars, I just found http://www.dangeruss.net today. Its got some amazing stuff on it, great for wallpapers. Just thought you might be interested.

Normaly joining is called "Merge" or "Weld" depending, or variations there of.... And I don't know about others, but in Blender, pulling vertexes apart is called "Rip"

I know, blender also has "Remove Doubles", but it requires getting the vertexes to line up seamlessly.... I find that Merge does better in most cases..

Cool site btw, hehe.. :winkwink: .. Ever want another cool site:
