of course they can, viruses can be very small, just a few lines.

QB would be a little harder to make a virus in than assembly.
That is, if you KNOW assembly.

I made a virus, complied it, and several days later I found the program and wondering what it was, ran it. And suffered, so take my advice don't make one!
