More digital rendering/furry practice.... =P

This is one of the few new peices I've rendered using my tablet.. The original line art was pencil, and I inked it using lines in the GIMP and the mouse (I don't like using real ink)

Colouring and shading was done with the stylus, which made softening the fur to avoid that "Plastic" look much easier.... =)

very nice. you have really good proportions right now, but maybe the neck is a little too long? and the hooves could be a tad bit bigger. other than that i think it's great Big Grin

Neck maybe so, trying to find the right balance between a horses neck, to a more human style neck.... Hooves, yeah, between them and my hands, they are still a lil inconsistent.. Smile .. Working on it though.. =)

I agree with Mech. The neck's really my only question with the picture. I can also see where you're coming from with trying to find the line between a human and a horse neck.

I would just imagine a horse neck in a different position if you wanted to go for the long neck (Ie: leaned forward or backwards a bit).

With the short neck, can't really visualize it moving around exactly, so I would imagine it would be more human-like in posture.
