Logging in from XP...
#1
I just reformatted my hard drive and installed it. It works beautifly, I haven't done much to put the system to the test, but it's working fine, and it works with every QB program I've put to the test (sure, VESA doesnt work but that's nothing new for my Voodoo). It's stable, hasnt crashed yet, I was able to turn off all those wizards... I really dont know what everyone's complaining about, really.

On my comp, every DOS program runs slower on XP.

You can improve DOS performance a bit by adjusting the idle sensitivity or using VDMSound, but there's no way you'll get DOS programs to run faster under XP than under pure DOS.

(Not to mention that having 2 DOS boxes open at once in XP grinds everything else to a halt...)
