My minigame, Kling

Ok, so I got your attention. Good.

Here's a little game I came up with when I was bored out of my mind.
Now I cant figure out how to make some form of better game out of this...so suggestions are deeply appreciated.
Here are the rules I came up with:

1. Left/Right arrowkeys to change selection


The rules:

1. The red box can only be linked vertically, the green box can only be linked horizontally, and the blue boxes can be linked both ways.

2. For a valid score, you can not have more than 4 open links.
A link is an unused pathway, so an empty blue box has 4 open links.

3. Every time you use the golden linker, your score is reduced by 1/3 (or multiplied by 0.66). This happens accumulative.

4. The golden linker can be linked from all directions, and do not affect the amount of unused links you have.

5. Your final score is all the red, green and blue boxes added together, and after that has happened, your score is reduced depending on how many golden linkers you used.

6. You cant link the same boxes together repeatedly.
