Has anybody coded a web browser with FB yet? I been thinking about it off and on for a while (not in fb most likely). It'd take major major research on my part, but I kinda think it'd be worthwhile.
This is a little off topic, but. If nobody here has coded one, does anybody know of one at all besides the 3 "Big Brothers", that being, IE, FF, Opera?

Off the top of my head: Mosiac, Netscape, Mozilla, Safari, Konqueror, Links and Lynx. If you are after source code to learn from then Links or Lynx might be a good start. Both are small text mode browsers.

Sebastian Mate coded one in Qbasic once. I don't recall ever using it, but I know that he did. That might be a good place to start from.
As for modern, open source web browsers I would study Firefox and Konquerer for Linux.
Here are a few more:

It would be interesting to see a web browser in Freebasic. Just remember that they are complicated. I'm not sure how large the other main web browsers are but Safari is a 1.0MB executable.
f you play a Microsoft CD backwards you can hear demonic voices. The scary part is that if you play it forwards it installs Windows.

It would definately be tough, no doubt. I'm using Phoenix 0.2 atm, wich has all the convienance of FF minus the mem leaks =D
