Couple Linux questions
#1
I just upgraded to Ubuntu 7.04 and I have a few questions.

How do I stop Beryl from loading on login? The only reason I had it was to have the cube desktop, but the new Ubuntu has that natively and I want to delete it. I can remove it from the Add/Remove apps program, but I'm sure if I do that without removing the reference in the auto execute file it will cause problems.

There are tons of music players to choose from. Which one acts the most like iTunes, both in functionality and interface. iTunes is what I'm familiar with, but I can learn a new GUI, I mainly want a program that will play ANYTHING. Wav, Mp3, AAC...

What is the best movie player? Which one has codecs for almost everything. Media seems to be lacking in Linux.

Especially MP3. MP3 is apparently a copyrighted format or something, so it's all but impossible to find a Linux MP3 player.

I assume that was sarcasm. I have Amarok, but it doesn't do AAC.

No it wasn't. My dad tried to find a program to play MP3s, and I don't think he could find one.

Oh, sorry, Amarak plays MP3s. Go to Add/Remove programs and try looking under unsupported programs.

Media isn't really lacking, more like having to deal with .mp3 and other proprietary formats. If you look for the addons for that stuff, you'll find it in like 2 seconds.
