free FileAnchor source code (version 2 and 3)

I've been thinking lately and I'd rather not sell the site at all. I'm going to keep the domain, and give the code for everything on my FTP client in the FA folder for free.

This was the new version of FileAnchor that was going to come out: http://file-pasta.com/f/1029.rar or if that link goes down http://fbtk.net/FA3.rar

This has all the files and templates you need

This is the code to the current fileanchor (as posted by Zap on FilePasta):

Both of these copies of code are given out as is. Scripts are not guaranteed to work perfectly and no help with setting up the scripts will be offered. Feel free to use and abuse the scripts as you like.

I hope everyone enjoy the buggy version of the fa3/fp sources sumo has! (But which I wrote, thanks sumo, you're the pal. If you did it with the original FA, why not this one too?).

And great job on trying to lock me out from here by de-admining me, changing my password, changing ftp/sql and changing my email address so I couldn't use password reset form sumo! Really shows you of as a great person.

So everyone, if I disappear from here again, you'll know why

Edit: And I don't really see why you're so seemingly pissed about me releasing the FA sources. I mean, I wrote them after all :S If you can sell the domain, your part, then why can't I give away my part for free?

Wow, I have to say that was pretty wide of you sumo. I used to have a whole lotta respect for you, but I cant say I'm feeling that anymore. Do you seriously feel you have the right to release Rune's code to the public without his consent?

I know you put your money into that site and wanted to recoup some of it. Hell, I even donated (and never got the extra space either), but then releasing the code out of spite when selling failed? Shame on you.


Great job on File-Pasta rune, its better than FA ever could have been. :]

#1: FA3/FA2 is not open source
#2: Sumo Jo wasn't selling a program made using the FA3/FA2 compiler

Imagine this instead, Lynns Legacy is not open source, you have it on an FTP for backup purposes.
Your FTP host finds it, and sells the source code.

Then when you find out, your FTP host makes you a deal: 60/40 split
You obviously do not agree, cause only a retard would agree to a 60/40 split on an illegal sale of his own code.
Your FTP host then locks you out of the FTP account, and ignores any attempt from you to contact him.
A few days later you see a post on a random forum by your FTP host, where he complains that his FTP service is having problems.

You tell me you wouldn't react in exactly the same way Zap, me, DrD and KiZ have done.

I mean, there's not much to discuss, it's pretty damned obvious from Sumo Jo's own words that this is what's happened!
Sumo Jo put the damned FA3 source up for sale on eBay!

And after Zap posts his own source code, Sumo Jo throws a fit, and starts spreading more of Zaps code around?

And you actually still think Sumo Jo is an innocent lamb and we're all just on a flamewar crusade?
