LCD monitors suck juice too, just less of it. It's like turning off a light when you leave the room, it's good practice is all.
Heh, I see the only winner of the of the "Find Vance the Pirate" contest from the qbexpo is proudly touting his prize (I made the "winners get a free 'I found Vance the Pirate' pin" thing as a joke and he called me on it)
