has anyone seen bleach.bas?
#1
well, i'm confuzzled with this one. there used to be a proggy that was called bleach.zip, which turned the palette to a greyscale palette. i found it long ago, back when i was semi-noobish. now i can't find it on my hd! and it's nowhere on the net to be found.

if anyone has it on their hd or on floppy, or knows where i can pick it up, it'd be lots of help. of course, if there are any proggys you guys are aware of that do the same thing, it'd be appreciated. thx in advance.

BTW nice avatar

Like this?
Code:
DEFINT A-Z

SCREEN 13

FOR c = 0 TO 255
   LINE (c, 0)-(c, 19), c
NEXT c

LOCATE 13, 1
PRINT "Press any key to go to greyscale."

SLEEP

OUT 968, 0
FOR c = 0 TO 255
   i = c \ 4
   OUT 969, i
   OUT 969, i
   OUT 969, i
NEXT c
Or like this?
Code:
DEFINT A-Z

SCREEN 13

FOR c = 0 TO 255
   LINE (c, 0)-(c, 19), c
NEXT c

LOCATE 13, 1
PRINT "Press any key to go to greyscale."

SLEEP

FOR c = 0 TO 255

   OUT 967, c
   red = INP(969)
   green = INP(969)
   blue = INP(969)

   i = (red + green + blue) \ 3

   OUT 968, c
   OUT 969, i
   OUT 969, i
   OUT 969, i
