realistic views or anti-mircosoft? both? next time i see bill gates i'll talk to him about it. i saw one time at the airport. he looked bussy, i didnt want to bother him. that and the tree guys in trench coast walking around him....

I really don't think he gives two craps, freebasic being a fiscal threat or not, which it isnt. I mean, the man has 40 billion dollars. If I had 40 billion dollars, I totally would not care about programming, because I would be two busy with my 40 billion dollars eating steaks each night with my beautiful Costra Rican wives and sipping wine as midget servants grant my every wish. I would just kick them until they programmed things for me, so I didn't have to do it myself. That's right, I said it: Multiple wives and midget servants. Do I look like a man who cares about FreeBasic?

I would be doing this from my comfortable pad, because yachts are kind of dumb. Also, the wine would probably be replaced with grape soda, as it tastes better. I would change drinks from month to month, probably.

i heard a report once that said because of bill gates extream wealth that it starting to do thing to him mentaly because he has a extream disconnect with reality. which only makes sence the guy can do what ever the hell he want's.

yet he still uses the public airport. i saw him back in 98. well he has a huge house loaded with lots of technology. he couild do any thing, but i think he is sensible about it. he give away quite a bit. just look at a school computer lab.

He's not disconnected from reality. I mean, Bill Gates is actually pretty cool with his money, what with the donating and all, even if it is neglibible to his salary, or even the interest of investing his salary. But as far as I know he doesn't have any wierd crap like shrunken head shrines that he pays pygmys to dance around or nothin'. And he doesn't act wierd in interviews and stuff, even if his business practices are jerk-ish (hey, that's how he got his 40 bil).

I would not care about Bill Gates. What's dangerous are all the lawyers in MS's payroll, they must sue someone from time to time to justify their salaries.
They sued recently a spanish guy running a site called Mocosoft....
