You're going to have to be more specific. What are you trying to accomplish with this game?
in general all i'm looking to do is make a game with animation

There's two aspects to your program, the animation and programming, but also the mathematics of calculating ball velocitys/angles/collisions. Have you done slopes or trig in school?
