Not to burst your bubble but I don't think your getting the spirt of Hackerdom.
Yes, we like to write interesting apps. Yes we like to make computers (and other machines) do things that weren't thought of when they were first designed. But this isn't a hobby (is this a hobby?) where we like to be told what to do. We do beacuse we want, which in truth is what all hobbies are about. If you really want that QB Java compiler then you should learn about compiler design and about QuickBASIC then go out and code it.

In Standard English usage no more then two (2) exclamation points are suggested for use, and then only in cases of extreme emotion. Also note that "1" is a sentence fragment and that the word is spelled "Somebody". The incorrect contraction of "That would" is "That'd" not "Thatd." You may wish to investigate this new phenomenon called capitalization

And yes, I'm tired and slightly annoyed at the influx of newbies this month.
I assume that it is due to elementery schools granting students unrestricted access to the Internet and that they will eventualy learn the ways of the Internet. Actually I can only hope and pray that's the case, the alternative is too depressing.
