Ok, thanks axipher.
Conclusions so far:
* QB compiled program DOESN'T work under Windows 2000 or XP.
* FB compiled program DOES work under Windows XP.

Correction, I tested at school on Windows XP Profesional 2002, SP1 and it does not work, it goes bacjk to fb and brings up a window that looks like this:

It's a small box so isn't big, so I guess SP1 doesn't handle it, or the school computers don't, but all my other programs work ok.

Lol, maybe although when I went to him today, he said he spelt it whynging, although you say whinging, you are both right, whynging is the British spelling while whinging is the american, kinda like color and colour.

Quote:whynging

this is not the british spelling. i speak and write british english natively and i've never seen it like that before. tell your teacher he's a dumbass.

Quote:British English and NA english are too similar to complain about, if you know one, you can reconize the other,

I wasn't complaining. I was just stating that I *write* British English as it is what I was taught. I mean that I write "colour", "centre" and "neighbour".

Writing and reading are different things, silly Tongue

Well the point is they are both found in a dictionary and therefore you are both correct no matter what spelling you use, case closed on the matter. Maybe I shouldn't have braught up the word.

I am going to... - anarky - 12-20-2005

LOL - I have to add my comments.

"Wynge" is not in the latest dictionary I have.
"Braught" is a word I am not familiar with; I believe you mean "brought".

I also use British spelling, not American as is taught in retarded schools of today.

>anarky - Is not a retard despite going to one of those over-retarded schools.

I am going to... - axipher - 12-20-2005

Well I found a defintion for whynging once and yes I do think I meane brought, not braught, thanks.
