I'm not yet sure as to your equations, however:
From your graph, the pressure does not escalate but instead rises at a decreasing rate, assuming the Y axis and X axes are in even proportions. (not logarithmic)
At 3/4s the distance from the center, the pressure is only half of that in the center....
If you can just make it a little different the pressure might go down...
