Lunix usually refers to any UNIX-derived or based OS. Since some hardcore nerds get offended when you categorise FreeBSD, OpenBSD, etc. as flavours of Linux, so it's usually safer to refer to them as something else... personally I use the term "nix" or "*nix".

Also, the two bytes that that person cunningly decides to overwrite is easily fixable. It's the same two magic bytes for every boot sector recognised on the x86, so you can fix it by writing those bytes back. Nothing to cry about. : )

not sure but that should hit just about every comp that your comp can reach and slow them to. but thats if they allow it.

It wont slow anything down.. it will run one ping.. thats it..
shell is not multitasking you know.. and pinging does not slow shit down.. unless you have some ancient computer with a 8byte/s network card or something.. :roll:
