Why not pick cookie id's that aren't already taken by qbnews? Like instead of "user", name the field "da-user" or something?

Well, i'm speaking from a perl perspective, but you set individual variables like "user" or "pass" or "name" or something, and give them a value (and an expiration date, if you like, among other things).

I'll look into its PHP equivalents later.
