Quote:And "the Shining"? Five hours of... well, at first, with the suspense, it was okay. And then the hedges started moving. Hurrah, moving hedges.
There's 2 versions of
The Shining. One that's directed by Stanley Kubrick (that's the good one) and one that's like 5 hours or something...and that one is just plain crapp. Kubrick's "version" is in my opinion one of the best horror-movies ever. It really scared me when I first saw it and it still scares me... *jocke looks over his shoulder...*
Quote:GRADY: My girls, sir, they didn't care for the Overlook at first. One of them actually stole a packet of matches and tried to burn it down. But I
corrected them, sir. And when my wife tried to prevent me from doing my duty I corrected her...
I also think that
The Exorcist is a scary (and great) movie.

I already brought that up in an earlier thread, but no one seems to care! That'll mean no Linux!!!

I've heared at college that Microsoft has bought <name-the-trade> who owns Unix, so Microsoft owns (or will own very soon) Unix. Some filtrations say that Microsoft plans a big sue over Linux distros 'cause they consider it a copyright violation over the Unix trade mark. (Remember, Linux is based on Unix)
Those guys are the real devil incarnation.

I don't think they'll get away with it, though. Even if they do make Linux illegal, the masses will uprise and get very annoyed... besides, I couldn't live without the stability of apache!
Edit: I check
www.netcraft.com. They keep a list of sites with the longest uptimes, what server they are running. Under "longest running sites" Apache servers dominate with the longest time since a reboot being 1691 days. Microsoft's best is 891 or something like that...

Yes. That is a real error. >_<

Yup, it's not "corret", but it is "correct". I use WinRAR. Zip needs to be liquidated.
