You *are* gonna add some text links, aren't you?

To Oracle,

Really to be straight and clear with you, man, I just *might* decide to make a simplified text version of my “Links” page. BUT, two things I want you to seriously consider: 1) I am *NOT* gonna even do that at all to please you and you only, but _INSTEAD_, upon my choosing only, I *WILL* add the text links to benefit you and the ENTIRE QB45/QB71 community; and 2) by the *very* next update of the AAP Official Homepage, upon my own decision indeed (and absolutely no one else’s!), there just might be TWO (2) types of “Links” pages in total, one of which is gonna most indeed be a simplified text version for those who don’t even want graphics on those types of pages at all.

Finally, Oracle, the 100% bottom line on all of that — to put it QUITE in plain simple English — is this: I reserve all rights to update and/or edit this site to **such** an intense degree to where it’ll benefit you, the ENTIRE QB45/QB71 community, and other people as well, and __NEVER__ as a tool of any person’s own control and manipulation at all, even in the utter slightest as well. End of the conversation, PERIOD. COME ON NOW!!! !!

I thank you so much for giving me the honest, wholehearted respect to read and understand this post.

I didn’t fully know that, as I thought at first that part of what Oracle has said about me preparing the text version of my “Links” page was within the lines of trying to control and/or manipulate me. But, the main thing is, I did not even know that it was no more than a suggestion at all. I guess I had better loosen up and relax instead of just being serious all the time. I never even intended to offend Oracle in any way whatsoever.



And to Oracle,

If I did offend you on that last post of mine (and really, I *DID NOT* even know that I may have offended you already), then it is rather my own fault 100% ( ! ) on that, and I am so DEEPLY sorry on-purpose 100% for even bothering to do so to you, oh **wonderful** person, you. ;*) !! You know something, my man, I need to just relax a little bit and let us cast our care on the Lord God Almighty (which is what I pretty *regularly* do, at very least! ). That is the definite best thing I need to do, really, to be most plain honest with the both of us, Oracle. I am a *very* sensitive person and I have feelings just like you, but I need to give you and the QB45/QB71 community the UTMOST repect, whether one even deserves it or not. I am not mad at you or anything like that..........I am just ‘fessing up with you here and giving my apologies to you, too. That’s all. !!

Apologies accepted, AAP. But I don't think I was clear enough with you in the first place. I wasn't complaining about the links page, I was complaining about the site navigation. I just think that, so your site becomes more accessable to those who do not have the benefits of flashy graphics and cool plugins, that you should add a plain text-only links menu on each and every last page of your site. This way you will find more and more people will be able to enjoy the benefits of your vast store of wonderful programs.

Take QBNZ for example. 10%+ of my visitors are using 640X480 resolution, a figure you simply won't find anywhere else in the QBasic community, because my site looks good at almost any resolution.

So I'm sorry if I caused any confusion, but I do hope you'll take my concerns into account for your next update.
