I've been busy with this project now for about two months and I think I could now release some alpha-screenshots. NOTE: The screenshots may look a bit monotonous but I'll add some animated tiles soon, like flower-tiles or something.
Tell me what you think of the screenshots or post if you want more info
!
The screenshots are here:

Looks nice. But why is everyone so intent on continuing with the tradition of using Screen 13(320x200 resolution)?

Why is everyone so intent on continuing 2D?

People use screen 13 because it *works* on everyone else's computer. People make games in 2d because there ain't a good 3d QB lib out there, and they think it's too hard.

ok, all games are awesome, and making them cool without using 3d is even more awesome. I personally like the idea of this game (even though this is my first time seeing it. I like the sureal bit of the game...

If will be a top-view puzzler with action, so you can describe it as somekind of puzzle-action game.
The first world, where the screenshots are from is easy, there're no enemies or such, only spikes. The goal of the game is to gather all needed keys, take as much money as you want, and go to the exit. Without dying or exceeding the time limit that is!

Neo, with games of this type, it's all about *fun*, and not about looks.

Is an all-time great game.
Try running windig in full-screen mode with CGA graphics. (ie use this ini file)
Code:
[Game]
Players=1
GauntletMode=False
Speed=270000
StartLevel=1
LevelFile=
GauntletTime=120
[Graphics]
FullScreen=True
Async=True
CGA=True
[Sound]
SoundOn=True
MusicOn=True
BufferSize=2048
Rate=22050
SoundVolume=100
The controls are:
Arrow keys
F1 to fire
F10 to quit
ESC selects 1 or 2 player mode
F7 toggle music
F9 toggle sound
This is a game with great gameplay...although it's not the prettiest thing around. I first ran this game on my IBM PS/2 30 dual-floppy machine in circa 1987... I had several friends in High-school and college whose grades suffered because of this little game.

Yeah. I think that SVGA in QB is pretty stupid mainly 'cause the game will only work in your computer, most likely.
No, I am exagerating, but I fell close.
2D games should never die. I still enjoy them. Most 3D games doesn't have half the gameplay as the ol' 2D glories. You just hit CTRL and the character does everything by itself.
