Nek, have you taken a glance at the rutines I sent you? The 720640 pixels wide routine may be great to make your game look better.

Not yet Nathan...been busy with stinky school. Sad I did find some assembly code online for 720 -> 640 conversion but I've not implemented anything yet. Also, I found some code for 512 character mode but I don't think that's going to be used for this game (I kinda want all 16 colors, hehehe). But today's the last day of class for this week so I'll have plenty of opportunity to go over the code. Plus I have to dig up that function in interrupt 10h that detects the video card, so I don't go trying that 720 -> 640 routine with anything but a VGA card (as if anyone still uses MDA, CGA, EGA, or Hercules, but you never know, there might be some heretic ancients out there somewhere). Time to consult Ralf's list I reckon. Wink

Nice then. The 720->640 conversion just uses ports and interrupts, so I coded it in PQB Wink. I've also have subroutines for the 512 character mode, if you decide to use it: ask me Wink
