Well apparently MY post got ignored, heres the download if anyone wants it:
http://stars.hybd.net/junk/dforum.zip
11Kb zipped, but its been a while since i checked the source so it has a few more files since ive remembered, you'll have to tinker with the source a little (coloured names are hardcoded into the script).

Quote:No...I'm not using that board.
It's extremely slow in page rendering...and I get 404 errors on some of their pages.
I have no probs with it, that's why I recommended it. It runs smooth in Lycos. Maybe it uses some code uncompatible or slow in your server... Anyhow, good luck

And the winner is....Hard Rock! I'm using that forum.
Thanks.
Is there a way, though, for me to delete messages...if, for instance, someone flames?
[EDIT]And also, in the readme.txt file, it says to delete msgdata.txt and msgnum.txt to reset the forum. But I can't find those files.

He's on vacation. Apparently. :-?
Rel, check the forum that Mr. Hard Rock suggested. Looks very similar to the one you're looking for.
That
http://www.minibb.net/ seems very interesting, BTW...

You have to do it by hand.
Let me check my site.
Okay you know how you set it so theres a directory where all the posts go? Well the easiest way to delete a flame, is just erase the .txt file of the message, not delete it, just kill the information in it. THen you can write "flame deleted" or as i like to do it "die spammer!"
Deleted the posts is a little more difficult, so i gave up on that and just erase posts now.
Now the two files the readme talks about are created after you post, in the same directory, they simply keep track of how many posts there are, and who posted them as well as ip's. Delete them, and all the board information is lost. The board doesnt use mysql, and takes up only as much space as the folder it is in.

Thanks.
BTW I sense the presence of cookies...but there isn't any setcookie() that I can find. Hm.

There are cookies, and there is code for cookies. The name, icq number and email are stored. It's set for 7 days if i remember.
Let me look again.
Check dopostnew.php :p
You can remove em if you dont want them.
