If you are interessted in which lib I choose I'll tell you:
B4G by v1ctor.. and then I made my own ASM vesa drivers.
I didn't like FL because it didn't terminate correctly on my gfx card/screen
I didn't like UGL because it was too incompatible.
The drivers/library I'm using now is pure VESA, any version (1.0+), so they should work on most old cards.
