I would seriously suggest to everyone asking if your high school allows you to take college courses for high school credit (some do) where you can afford it or the government will pay for it (if you're in the US ask about FAFSA grants).
1. Homework in college courses is merely a suggestion - it often isn't collected or graded. You can practice as much or as little as you want for the exam, and if you can pass it without doing homework - great!
2. Plus, the students are paying to be there, so they don't goof off as much in class - there's a (relatively) greater atmosphere of maturity.
3. The teachers tend to be better qualified.
4. There should be plently of sub-101 level courses for areas where you're not at the college level yet. And a lot of college level courses are easy A's: for example, Introductory computer science assumes no previous knowledge. For a lot of courses it wouldn't matter that you're still at the high school level.
5. You start out learning the same stuff you did in high school, but not as dumbed down - you get to dive into the interesting details, and the teacher/textbook will be able to answer the questions your high school classes couldn't
6. Sometimes a weightlifting, swimming, yoga, etc class at a college can count for high school P.E.! High school P.E. sucks - I spent most of it sitting in formation in the sun on hot pavement being bored out of my mind. Occasionally we'd practice basketball layups, and run laps.
