TBN on the move...again
#11
Nek this is a bit off topic but I think you should be giving someone *credit* for choosing that *awesome* scheme(Cobalt) which you were initially reluctant to install(because you hadn't seen it) Big Grin

I dislike glory hogs. Tongue TBN is (or at least is supposed to be) a team effort, so everyone gets the credit for everything as a team. That way, no one's ego gets in the way of getting the job done.

I dropped out of Darkness Ethereal because glory hogging was going on, among other things. I'm certainly not going to let the same thing happen to TBN. Big Grin

But yes, Cobalt is one of the best themes we have installed. I use Chronicles personally, because Cobalt is missing a couple of features I like and let's face it...medeival theming rocks. Big Grin
I'd knock on wood, but my desk is particle board.

Yeah, Cobalt looks too cold as well. It may impress at first glance, but then it is bloated and ... cold.

The DNS changes were finally put through the system, so now we officially wait for propagation. In the meantime, I have 24 sites to restore on the new servers. Needless to say, I won't be around much over the next few days. Big Grin

TBN is on its own server this time, so it is seperate from Digital Blackie, as stated before. Right now, completing Digital Blackie and moving all of our client accounts is my top priority. TBN, along with two other "pet project" sites of mine (DarkWizard.Org and Digital Satin Productions) come after that's all taken care of. I've already restored Lost socK software, now it's again a matter of DNS propagation...

na_th_an: I think you might like my modification of Cobalt for the main site...it's not as bloated or cold as the forum. Big Grin

It's unreachable everywhere...the DNS changes were accepted only a few hours ago. Also, I'm still working on the Cobalt-based frontend...the original version is still up for the time being (and still has the sessions error...disabling those two lines in sessions.php disables the forum admin panel).

I'll be waiting for the new idea... Wink

It wasn't spammed enough. We gotta learn from the guys at Qbasic.tk, they know how to advertise.

Aetherfox's entry was great. He showed me a WIP version and it was really cool. Some more people were joining, didn't them? I said I was, but my lack of actual time makes it impossible.

But I still have a new idea. It is original, at least I think so... let's see if the rest of the QMunity thinks the same.
