Of course how could I forget that one!! Add that to my 'games that changed my life' list just for that power-punch alone Wink

BTW, I never had a speccy and I have no idea how to run the games.. how is it done?
In a world without walls and doors, who needs Windows and Gates?

Ok. In case you downloaded a tape file (.TAP or .TZX) you do something:

1. Load up the tape in the emulator (this varies from an emulator to another, in X128 it is done pressing F7 and selecting the TAP/TZX file).
2. If you are in 128K mode (most likely) you'll have a menu on screen. Select "48 BASIC" if your game is for Spectrum 48 (the way of the exploding fist is for 48K, anyhow you can check it in the place where you downloaded the game, i.e. sinclair infoseek at WOS, http://www.void.jump.org), you have to use the cursor keys and enter for that. If the cursor keys don't work, then SHIFT+6 is DOWN and SHIFT+7 is UP.
3. Once you are in 48 BASIC, type J, CTRL+P, CTRL+P. You'll see LOAD "" on your screen. Tap ENTER (in some emulators, " is gotten pressing ALT+P instead of CTRL+P).

The game will load Smile
If you are using a TZX file (which emulates the tape perfectly), you may want to use fast TZX loading. In X128 you can do this using tape options (I think you have to press F8, but I'm not quite sure... RTFM for that issue Smile ).

Quote:Soldier of Fortune 1 & 2

Ive never tried two, but i have number one, and if i had a list of most boring games ever, that would be on it. It was the first fps i couldnt bring myself to like, i forced myself to the sewer level, and i dont feel like playing it again.

And as a question, if in the original post it says:

notice the computer part, why are people posting console games?

so are calculators.

so are microwaves.

I'd like to add the "Minute Plus" microwave option to my list of games.

I've got a combination microwave/oven, so I get advanced menus, nothing like playing against the clock(i.e. resetting after each powerfailure ;-))

Quote:Dungeon Siege - contender for one of the best/most addictive games ever, if it wasn't for the limp-wristed plot. I regularly played through to 7am :o

I bought this on launch, just to put my radeon 7500 to the test. Ended up clocking almost 40 hours on it -- very enjoyable. Almost no replay value after that, though. And very little netplay or community.

Also (in no particular order):
Max Payne
Terminal Velocity
Mario 3
Jedi Outcast
Age of Mythology
