right angle math question
#1
Ok since I've been out of school for quite some time, my math skills are not what they used to be. What is the formula to figure the sides of a right triangle given the hyp. and the angles.

. .......... 60
. .......... |..\
. .......... |.... \ side=40
. .......... |...... \
. .......... |........ \
. .... 90 ._____ 30

need to know the lenght of the other two sides

Ok you young bucks, don't let me down

You can do it in several ways.

One of them is COS/SIN. You choose one of the angles 30 or 60 (formed by a catet and the hypotenuse, which is the size measuring 40).

The opposite catet measures 40 * SIN(30)
The next catet measures 40 * COS(30)

Btw, I'm on two beers, this may be completely wrong. But I know how to do it, I promise

It won't always be a 30,60,90 though. That was just an example.
