To Antoni:

So your thing was all done with pixels? :o ! Wow, I am surprised! I didn’t even expect that, man. And, just at the time I was writing this post, I believe that I have now spotted the cause of the rather slow FPS in your program: no FFix installed! Sad Here’s why, Antoni. In the middle of this writing indeed, I have just now discovered for my darling own self that on the very same Pionex 450-mhz “Pentium III”-based computer, when I ran your program again *with* the FFix installed, the speed result was improved significantly to at least 10mhz!! Big Grin !

Just so you know, my man. Just so you know. Wink

And finally here, to Richard Eric M. Lope (Relsoft):

Quote:AAP: Use FFIX and it would run fine. :*)

Well Eric, you are absolutely right on that and then plenty. Period. ^_- ! At least now that FFix thing has solved some speed issues on the proggie, you know?

Be seeing you all once more, and thanks so gladly again now!! Cool !!

How about SIN and COS tables? That might speed up performance...or does FFIX speed them up as well?

Eno_on: There are just 4 trig calculations per frame, a precalc would do nothing.

AAP: Not all people knows ffix (yet!) so I always disable it before posting to avoid people complaining "It gives me an error!"

Antoni, why not just use the ffix obj module? Screw the runtime...just compile the obj module into your exe. I can't live without it anymore. Big Grin It seems to even offer speedups to integer math for some reason...
I'd knock on wood, but my desk is particle board.

Ado: I ALWAYS use ffix. In fact I merged ffix with qb.lib and it's the standard library I load when I start my IDE. I only commented out in the source I posted so it could run in every computer. It's just AAP did'nt noticed it.
