P233 with an ATI Rage Pro video card with three or four drivers :???: I think this is the problem as once i could make it running, but it was far away in the past. Now i can use Anim8or, but Blender fails, and the VESA modes in DOS games appear with a line inside them if starting from 1024 * 768 (But from 640 * 480 they work). The other driver can run VESA, but fails with any 3D modellers, and the last has some other problem...
ATI would be a good video card if it would have suitable drivers
On the other hand i have got 160Mb of memory
fter 60 million years a civilization will search for a meteorite destroying most of the living creatures around this age...
There must be a better future for the Cheetahs!

Hey Dav, if I gave you some drawn angle(side, front, 3/4) concept shots of say, a pig rendered with impeccable style but consistancy in perspective and rotation, how well could you translate it to a model? (animation and shading excluded).
Just hypothetically, I mean. Not like I'm stretched on a known project that involves pigs and exploding stuff.

ha ha, right... and it doesn't start with an S either.
Anyway, I'd just use the pictures as backdrops for the viewports... it's kinda hard to explain, but with enough effort, you can make a correct model of anything.

I call this game "CounterSow", it's a first person shooter, played over the internet in which you much type in "n00b" until your opponent's head explodes. If you surf for internet porn at the same time as playing, you get bonus points for diversity.. or should I say "diver-swine-ty", a-ho ho ho ho.
And how is rendering with lightwave? If I wanted to create a custom shader, what tools do I have to play with? See I'm a poor college student, but I might find it within my humble heart to ask ol' Kris Kazaa for a toy to play with while I dress up in clothes I found at the Salvation army and sit outside with a cup on North Avenue. That may take awhile, you see.

NO, It's top secret... We don't want to upset the author! (He's one of those finicky types)

You can do pretty much anything you want, even cel-shading. It just takes a little practice.
