Someone told me that it's probably only $50. Sad And he runs a skateboarding magazine (real one, not online).
I'm still going to try to squeeze $100.

Don't get too excited - no one says it really is valuable - but people may indeed give you wrong advice (especially if they want to have the board themselves)

I totally agree with HQSneaker. Take it to several people... If someone is trying to gip you, then you should be able to see it due to the low amounts they say it's worth.
