Technically, using WSH is not batch programming...that refers to using batch files in DOS...when you write scripts that get interpreted through WSH they are just that - scripts .
BATCH PROGRAMMING ROXOR! ITS TEH B35T 7331 SHZNIT!!!.
Hey, I coded my first game in Batch .
Look, all languages have their plus points, as well as their minus points. Now, obviously, some languages are a little more towards the negative aspects...but hey, we're talking about COBOL or FORTRAN or something when we say that. Despite QB's misgivings, it was a very good language for beginners, and hey, we still use it with considerable speed? Do you see any community with so much backing?
I don't know for how long I've been looking for a decent C/C++ community like this one...nothing I've seen comes close.
