Fast music

Nope. With fast music I meant music made fastly, in almost no time. i.e. you grab your guitar, compose and record in 30 minutes.

Those are some cool tunes. Dama the dame of dimes is better than alot of the mallcore out there and crap on mtv.

I tried to compose something quickly, but I couldn't come up with anything. Sad
I'll try again though. I should be able to put something together.

Hmm, well, I'll record some new stuff tomorrow (rather, today; gotta stop staying up so late! ...rather, early), but for now, here are some random snippets I recorded awhile ago...

This one's a simple chord progression a friend taught me, but I've always loved the way it sounds. Really short. Wink

This one was the intro to a song I never got around to making... Short as well... Titled 'wallin' because it sounded a bit like the quiet muted galloping guitars in the end of 'another brick in the wall, pt. 1' by pink floyd...

Like I said, I'll record some REAL songs tomorrow.

OK...got something for you guys:

The_Flower.mp3

It's a song I did in Hindi...turned out alright I guess. Just finished it now, took 15 minutes. My guitar was out of tune and I have a fairly sucky singsong voice, but it's not half bad.

The lyrics are as follows:

Kal voh phool khilee thee, (yesterday, the flower blossomed)
Mere saamne khadhi thee. (literal - when it was standing in front of me, ie. when i was standing by it)
Mai bas dekhta rehegaya, (literal - i just stared, ie. i was amazed)
Voh itnee khoobsoorat thee, (she was so beautiful)
Voh itnee khoobsoorat thee. (she was so beautiful)

English in the brackets, including literal and metaphorical translations. I initially started off with some truly hilarious lyrics involving 3 eggs, a goat and a bubble. But it didn't sound right with the music, so I did this cheesy-in-english-love-song. This was all in my 15 minutes.

Enjoy.

I'll be posting some more stuff soon, and hopefully they will be more substantial contentwise.

22050 Hz, 32kbps Mono

5.47 megabytes is disgustingly shameful.

Have you thought about varying the rhythm of your playing? It sounds insanely monotonous. Put in some fast bits, then some slow bits, then do a quick sweep, and then play one long epic note.

Hey, nice tunes.

I suggest you all to use OGG. I use 44Khz, Stereo with 96 Kbps (average bitrate) which sounds better than MP3, 128 Kbps CBR. Most of the times not even 96 Kbps are needed, so the compressor compensates that. A 2 minutes song can be compressed to 800 Kb using this.

*cough* Like I said, it was improvised. I'm not too great at inprovising.
My mp3 encoder (mp3pro) isn't too great either, I've been told. Anyway, yeah. I'm NOT especially proud of that song, so... Ignore it for now. Tongue
(taken down after I heard it again-- if you didn't hear it, I'm glad  )
