Pretty cool but a tad slow on my system as well.

AMD XP 2000+, Windows XP, 256MB RAM, TNT2 Pro 64 w/32MB VRAM

I recompiled it to use 320x240 in 32bpp mode and its speed became almost good enough for an actual game. Big Grin

:o I broke it...heehee Big Grin Try jumping from the second block thingo you have there and trying to go under the top block and into the hallway...it went through the walls completely and kept falling. Big Grin
I'd knock on wood, but my desk is particle board.

Nice work, it flies on my machine. Duron 1Ghz, nVidia 5900XT Win 98. Its a little too fast to be able to jump easily on to the boards, keep going over Smile Cool work.

1 FPS ;(

PII 500 MHz + Riva TNT 32MB + 256 MB RAM + Win2000

games like Half-Life, Q2, Unreal run very well on my PC (I know, I know the games weren't made in basic Wink)

Runs smoothly (surprisingly smooth), over 30fps, I cant make out individual frames.

AMD 850MHz, 128MB 133MHz SDRAM, nVidia GeForce 2 GTS 32MB, Windows 98 customized first edition. DirectX 9.0c (or something)

Dr, someday, you'll have to whip up some openGL tuts that we BASIC "wannabe programmers" can read/learn from. Big Grin

Tip for those seeing a "slow" refresh:

Delete the opengl32.dll and the glu32.dll that is included in the ZIP and use the ones that came with your video card (or at least I had those already on my system). The improvement in performance will be drastic. I also noticed a change in the lighting and colors.

Thanks! I copied OPENGL32.DLL from the system folder into the demo folder and the boost is INCREDIBLE. It is _very_ fast, I don't know how much FPS, but I think over 30 on my old PII 500MHz. The demo is great! And FB too of course Smile

edit: I also copied GLU32.DLL and colors are much better

You don't have to actually copy them over, they should be available in whichever location they are installed.

Someone may correct me on this, but I think that most video cards are geared to specific OpenGL drivers. I had a similar problem at one time and the fix for it was to download what I needed from the video card vendor's website.
