I need a good language other than qbasic that does NOT require installation, preferably a FREE one. Does anyone know where i may find such a language.

I'm sure there are C/C++ packages which unzip instead of uninstall. Btw, you're going to have to at least unzip, you can't get away with just downloading each file individually.
I think DJGPP just unzips. Do a google on it.

Yeah, I mean install, sorry.
Now, I'm not sure how CD-RWs come into this, but I think they generally hold 700-800 MB.

I doubt that DJGPP runs from a non writable media. And takes around 30 Mbs.

The FB IDE doesn't need installation either.
VonGodric just used a self-extracting packager with some more abilities than the usual one. You can ask VonGodric to send you the normal zipped version I believe |
